Buddyng August Competition T&Cs

1- This competition is run by Buddyng Limited (company no. 12322753), hence forward known as ‘the Company’ whose registered office is at Sussex Innovation Centre, Science Park Square, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9SB.

2- The competition is open to anyone worldwide aged 17 years or over.

3- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

4- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5- Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via http://www.buddyng.com/competition. This competition will be promoted primarily through Instagram, but also on other social media platforms and digital sites.

6- Individuals can create as many travel posts as they like, all posts are eligible to win.

7- Closing date for entry will be 23:59 BST on 31st August 2022. After this date no further entries to the competition will be counted.

8- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9- The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

  1) Download and sign up to Buddyng app

  2) Post something travel-related to
     the Community on Buddyng app

10- The Company reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Company’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Company.

11- The prize is as follows:

The prize is cash transferred directly to your bank account. It is intended to be used to help fund your future travels. You may incur a small transaction fee if transferring to a bank outside of the UK. This will be transferred through Wise.

12- The most liked post on Buddyng app before 31st August 23:59 BST will win £400. A further £100 will be won at random by software generation from all users in our database who have entered (one entry per user) confirmed by the Company by the 31st August 23:59 BST.

13- The winner will be notified by direct message in Buddyng app from the Buddyng Official Account on the 1st September 2022. The winner will only ever be contacted by this account within the app. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

14- The Company will notify the winner how to receive the prize (bank transfer).

15- The Company’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

16- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

17- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

18- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

19- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

20- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.
